We are in a liminal time whose direction points toward a moment of collapse of the modern capitalist system, marked by an increase in brutal violence, the massive destruction of livelihoods, and generalized war. In this sense, the power of solidarity and transformative economies is central to contesting the meanings of the future, to strengthening actions capable of building social relations that break with capitalist logic. In Latin America there exists a disarticulated and pluriform movement capable of showing paths toward another economy and another possible world; it therefore becomes important to come together with the political intent that science and academia offer keys to strengthen it.
