The model of Catholic education inherited from the thirteenth-century universitas in the West has managed to build a bridge between the principles of tradition and the challenges of innovation at every historical and geographic moment. As an inclusive model, it combines research capacities with a value proposition of integral education grounded in ethics and human dignity. Reading the signs of the times has been the source for building joint solutions to the problems of the human condition and the planet. This symposium calls for the presentation of results and impact indicators of the Catholic university in the communities and territories of the Americas, with the purpose of strengthening network collaboration (Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities, International Federation of Catholic Universities -FIUC-, Organization of Catholic Universities of Latin America -Oducal-, Network of Catholic Universities of Colombia -RUCC-, among others).
