ADMINISTRATION OF JUSTICE AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN THE AMERICAS: CHALLENGES AND OBSTACLES
The symposium “Administration of Justice and Artificial Intelligence in the Americas: Challenges and Obstacles” aims to analyze the impact of disruptive technologies on legal culture and contemporary society, with special emphasis on the justice sector of the twenty-first century. It constitutes an academic space for generating reflections and proposals aimed at improving and enhancing the quality of the public justice service, strengthening the technical capacities of law students, magistrates, judges, prosecutors, university professors, lawyers and representatives of public entities from countries across the Americas, at the local, regional and national levels.
We will bring together researchers, professors and jurists to discuss the evolution of procedural and evidentiary law, as well as the current challenges of effective judicial protection in the context of digital justice and the implementation of artificial intelligence in the administration of justice. The symposium promotes interdisciplinary dialogue, with a comparative approach and international scope, aimed at identifying good practices, ethical and regulatory challenges, and pathways to consolidate a justice system that is more accessible, efficient, and respectful of fundamental rights.
