Symposiums And Individual Presentations

CRITERIA:

• The period for the application will be from March 20 to July 06, 2026 and will be carried out through the platform: click here
• The symposiums must be aligned with the thematic areas of the Congress.
• They will be in charge of two coordinators from different countries, preferably prioritizing gender equity.
• Only a symposium can be coordinated. The coordinators must decide and, where appropriate, accept the proposals of the participants, apply the alignment criteria with the established thematic areas and set rules for the presentation of the admitted works. It is requested to adhere to the program and the assigned times, approve the publication of the Memoirs Book and, if necessary, get a sponsorship for their respective symposia. We recommend that the participants of the symposiums favor the participation of different affiliations and geographical areas.
• The Organizing Committee will be respectful of other forms of symposia that have been held at previous conferences or that wish to carry out a new tradition of work. These and those must be exposed in a timely manner.
• The Organizing Committee will respect other forms of symposia that have been held at previous congresses or that wish to establish a new working tradition. These should be presented in due course.
• There are symposia that can be proposed complete with their respective speakers. Keep in mind that each one must register individually on the platform once the symposium is approved by the area coordinators.
• When their symposium proposals have been admitted, participants will have 90 days to pay their registration fee.
• A participant can present, at most, two presentations in different symposia.
• The organizers of the 59th ICA will disseminate information on the symposia approved in a timely manner and sufficiently in advance regarding the dates scheduled for the Congress. Likewise, they will provide the physical space, audiovisual and technical equipment in the classrooms assigned for each symposium. They will have logistical support.
