The transition between the twentieth and twenty-first centuries has been marked by substantial transformations in didactics and historiography, observable from basic education through university level. These changes are manifested in the emergence of new subjects and objects of study, the diversification of documentary sources alternative to traditional archives, and the development of renewed narrative and analytical forms. Likewise, the decline of the great historiographical narratives fostered the deconstruction of traditional history, consolidating an ongoing epistemic debate between the historical discipline and memory studies.
\nAdded to this panorama is the transition from universal history to global history, an approach that examines the complexity of human experience on the planet, linking the past with the dynamics of the present and future projections. Likewise, innovative perspectives are proliferating in the teaching and dissemination of history at the national, regional and local scales, oriented toward the study of diverse identities and subaltern groups.
\nHowever, a gap persists in the critical analysis and systematic discussion of contemporary challenges, unresolved questions, and the pedagogical proposals needed for the teaching of history to respond to the demands of the current context.
\nConsequently, historians, researchers and educators are invited to submit articles and|or papers that address, from disciplinary and interdisciplinary approaches, the teaching and dissemination of history in Latin America and other global contexts.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","simposio_area":[62],"class_list":["post-10682","simposio","type-simposio","status-publish","hentry","simposio_area-historia"],"yoast_head":"\n
