This symposium proposes to analyze, from Political Science and State Theory, the impact of the deployment of algorithmic technologies on two fundamental pillars of society: the legal system (Law) and the centers of knowledge production (the University).<br \/>\nFrom the perspective of Political Studies, the adoption of AI in judicial decisions and public administration redefines traditional notions of sovereignty, due process and the Principle of Accountability. At the same time, the University faces the dual challenge of regulating the use of these tools in civic education and leading critical research on data bias and ethics.
